DataCenter

DataCenter functions as the main artery that nourishes the other components of the VoiceSys++ suite. It acts as the centralized controller as well as a data warehouse which utilizes a highly secure method for its data handling functions.

This part of the VoiceSys software suite acts as a mediator by transferring wave files from doctors to transcriptionists and later takes the transcribed files back to the doctors from various transcription centers. DataCenter receives the dictations made by doctors through Dictation Manager, Telescriber, etc. and stores them under the corresponding doctor's wave folder. It then uses the file routing logic to determine the least loaded MedFlow and sends files to that MedFlow for transcription. After the transcription is complete, DataCenter receives the transcripts from MedFlow and stores them in the corresponding doctors doc folder. Upon request from the Dictation Manager, these transcripts are sent back after proper validation from the user.

The DataCenter will also track all the users as well as the file flow through the system. It will maintain the transcription load of each transcription center, as well as the system security. Since it is enabled with an enhanced file monitoring system, it can manage the quality of the transcribed files as well as the turnaround time of files.
