In order to secure entry/exit the user must swipe his identity card in the scanner of the device. The door opens only if his identity is authenticated, thus keeping away unwelcome guests.
Every time a person enters/exits through a specified door, the host computer is updated immediately with the time of entry/exit and identity of the person.
ScanGard can allocate permissions to a user to enter through specific doors, thus controlling the movement within your premises.
